If you want to discuss the Guanabana food truck, one of the first questions that will come up is about the name. It’s not made up gibberish, it’s the name of a tropical fruit and depending on where you’re from, you may call it the soursop, the graviola, or the guanabana.
It looks like a smaller but spikier jackfruit and is a tropical fruit native to the countries where the creators of the Guanabana Food Truck hail from. They wanted to create healthy snacks for their children and expose them to the tropical fruit flavors that aren’t as commonly found here in Jacksonville. With that in mind, they created the tropical fruit ice pop and expanded from there.
About GuanaBana Food Truck
Two mobile tricycle kiosks, a fully stocked dessert food truck, and some select menu items available at local dining establishments, the success of the food truck is growing because the menu is full of delicious desserts centered on fresh and healthy ingredients.
Mix that against the hot climate here in Jacksonville and everybody is excited to see the Guanabana Food Truck rolling in. They offer at least sixteen flavors of fruity and creamy ice pops, fruit bowls, smoothies and milkshakes, and two items that deserve their own particular mentions; the Taco Berry and the French Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich.

The ice pop menu often includes new and limited time flavors, so check them out often. The Oreo Cookie Ice Pop was creamy and delicious, the Pineapple-Ginger was a bright treat, but you owe it to yourself to get the Guanabana original to taste the most potent sweet and tart strawberry/pineapple you’ll ever get in a single bite.
They have sweet, savory, and tart flavors in dozens of available fruit combinations. The Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches were pillowy and delightful, a decadent treat that you absolutely have to taste in order to believe how perfectly blended the Guanabana Food Truck makes them.

The Taco Berry is a cake and strawberry taco topped with whipped cream. It was created with just the right amount of ingredients that we enjoyed each and every bite without feeling like anything was missing or overwhelming. And of course, we had to try the namesake guanabana ice pop.
Prepare your taste buds if you’re not expecting a flavor explosion. It was a bright and fantastic flavor of the sweetest pineapple and tangy tart strawberry. The fruit itself has a lingering flavor that hangs around for a while after you finish the dessert, satisfying and quenching your thirst.
